The yarn is so vibrant and soft in person. The pattern instructions are easy to follow even for a beginner like myself. I've only been crocheting for a month and a half, so I'm a true beginner!

There are a few places that get confusing-- e.g. In the instructions for the heel, it says "dc2tog" and then "dctog," and I could not, for the life of me, figure out if this meant to make 2 decrease stitches or double-crochet the decreased dc to another stitch. It didn't appear to be a typo, but I couldn't find that terminology anywhere online or in the instructions.

However, the pattern does say you can email with questions-- I didn't do that, but judging by the quality of service I've received so far (see below), I have a feeling this would have been very helpful. However, I also just interpreted the instructions in the way that made the most sense to me, and everything worked out beautifully, so this really is a small issue. The pattern seems to be very forgiving as long as you understand what you're trying to achieve-- and even as a true neophyte, I was able to work it out!

Aside from this minor issue, I'm blown away by this company so far. The yarn is great, the projects are beautiful, and the service (I even received a handwritten note in my box from the company's founder!!) cannot be beat!
